I was about to leave the house to head into a friday night in Berlin when I found Coasts’ latest track in my mailbox and I just couldn’t help but share it with you.Wallowis an uptempo tune with soaring guitars and heavy synth. It’s certainly a step up from their debut single Oceans, which was initially released as a free download, and I’m excited to hear more from these guy. Both tracks are taken from their debut Paradise EP.

Since the turn of the year things have turned into somewhat of a blur for the Bristol based band. The release of debut single Oceans clocked in with over 100,000 Youtube views and spins from Radio 1′s Huw Stephens and Zane Low, as well as a nationwide headline tour that culminated in a sold out show at Camden’s Barfly; their first ever headline London show.

Formed after meeting at Bath Uni during the summer of 2011, the band describe their sound as a cohesion of ‘tribal drums, tropical strings, thundered keys and lost cries’.

Coasts celebrate the release of their debut Paradise EPwith a run of European live dates in May.
